A fellowship aiming to address the lack of diversity in theatres at executive level has appointed its latest cohort.

A joint-initiative between London Theatre Consortium (LTC) and MOBO Group, the LTC MOBO Fellowships supports mid-career leaders and offers mentoring, shadowing, access and skill sessions to help provide pathways into executive leadership.

This year's fellows include Creative Producer and co-Founder of Sculptress ALISHA ARTRY and arts fundraisers and Young Trustee of the Contemporary Arts Society AMA OFORI-DARKO

They are joined by creative producer, general manager, festival curator and facilitator AMEENA HAMID, Creative Careers Partner at the National Theatre and board member of Theatre Uncut POOJA SITPURA, and WOFAI JE, a creative producer, casting director and interim General Manager at Gate Theatre.

The new cohort started in February and will work alongside the leaders of the 11 theatres belonging to the LTC - which includes Almeida Theatre, Battersea Arts Centre, Royal Court Theatre, and Young Vic - for up to a year.

Chair of LTC ELEANOR LANG said a “dynamic succession pool for theatre leadership is vital for the future success of the sector”.

“All of the LTC theatres are committed to working together to create opportunities and make change happen. We are delighted to appoint a further five Fellows to work with us over the coming year.”
