North Shield’s theatre and community facility The Exchange 1856 has named ADAM LANGMAN Finance Director.

Langman will be responsible for shaping the financial direction of the venue. He will work alongside the recently appointed Managing Director STUART EGAN to establish the venue as a cultural hub for businesses in North Tyneside as it currently undergoes renovations.

He began his financial career at KPMG where he stayed for a decade, before eventually moving into the property development sector.

Egan said the organisation will benefit from Langman’s “financial acumen, drive and energy”.

“He is extremely well known and well respected within the financial sector and will be an enormous asset to us moving forward.”

“The community element of what we are trying to do here is extremely important to me as I’m passionate about contributing to my local area and giving back,” Langman said.

“It’s a great honour to be able to help shape the future of this stunning, unique cultural asset and ensure it enriches the lives of the local community now and for future generations.”
