ENO appoints Martyn Brabbins as Music Director

Conductor MARTYN BRABBINS has been appointed as the new Music Director of English National Opera, replacing MARK WIGGLESWORTH who stepped down after less than a year in post. Brabbins was most recently Chief Conductor of the Nagoya Philharmonic in Japan and has previously served as Artistic Director of the Cheltenham International Festival of Music. The appointment runs until August 2020.
