MICHAEL DUFFY will be Cheltenham Music Festival's Head of Programming from February 2022.
He replaces CAMILA KING, who moves to Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod to become its Executive Producer.
Currently the British Council's Music Programme Manager, Duffy previously worked with Mahogany Opera Group, Spitalfields Music Festival and the London Sinfonietta.
He says he his looking forward to returning to a festival environment.
"I hope to spark innovative collaborations with exceptional artists and as part of the wider Cheltenham Festivals family."
The next Cheltenham Music Festival will take place July 2022, with the programme annoucement scheulded for March.
