The Advisory Council on National Records and Archives has seven new members who will serve terms of between two and four years.

They are former senior UK intelligence officials STEPHEN HAWKER and MARTIN HOWARD, the former Ambassador to Seoul MARTIN UDEN, Cardiff University Commercial Law Professor PHILLIP JOHNSON, Professor of Victorian Studies at Queen's University of Belfast, DR LEON LITVACK, financial Ombudsman HELENE PANTELLI, and longtime civil servant DAVID ROSSINGTON
