Copeland appointed IWC Acting Director

The Irish Writers Centre has announced HILARY COPELAND will step in as Acting Director during VALERIE BISTANY's partial sabbatical year. Copeland led the literary organisation The John Hewitt Society from 2013 – 2019, where she ran the society’s international summer school and established the Hillsborough Festival of Literature and Ideas. She is Literary Advisor for the Belfast International Arts Festival, a board member of the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival and a trustee of Integrated AlumNI.
