Chief executive of London Mozart Players to step down
London Mozart Players (LMP) has announced that its chief executive, FLYNN LE BROCQ, is to step down at the end of August.
Le Brocq is leaving to take up a new role as director of admissions at Uppingham School, an independent fee-paying school in Rutland.
Flynn said: “It has been an absolute privilege to lead this wonderful orchestra.
“I’m immensely proud of the collaborations and the artistic partnerships we’ve built, and I feel confident about the future of this extraordinary organisation.”
He added that while he was leaving the organisation, he would “still keep in touch with LMP from the sidelines”.
SIR ROBERT LECHLER, chair of the LMP board of directors, said that since joining LMP in 2021, Le Brocq’s leadership had been “instrumental in securing the orchestra’s financial future, streamlining its governance, and pushing us to reach ambitious goals”.
