Chichester Festival Theatre's (CFT) next Artistic Director is JUSTIN AUDIBERT.
Audibert will take up post in July alongside Executive Director KATHY BOURNE. He will take over from DANIEL EVANS who is leaving CFT to become the Royal Shakespeare Company’s (RSC) Co-Artistic Director.
A freelance writer and director, Audibert has experience directing productions with both the National Theatre and the RSC, and has taught at drama schools and universities in the UK and internationally. He is currently Artistic Director of London’s Unicorn Theatre.
Audibert said he is “honoured” to be appointed: “Chichester holds a very special place in my heart. As a child we used to holiday in this beautiful area and I have a deep abiding affection for the stunning countryside and friendly people of West Sussex. I cannot wait to get to know them better as we create the next chapter in Chichester Festival Theatre’s illustrious history.”
