JANET FISCHER has been appointed to the new role of Chief Executive at the music charity Live Music Now. NINA SWANN, previously Musicians' Development Director and Director of the South East branch of the organisation, takes the role of Executive Director following an interim period covering that role during the pandemic. Both appointments follow a review aiming to extend the charity’s reach and impact.

Fischer has worked in strategic business and cultural change management, fundraising and programme development across the UK and the Americas, focusing on issues of social engagement, cohesion and inclusion. Swann’s earlier career includes devising and managing inclusive music programmes at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and the London Symphony Orchestra.
