Five new recruits have joined the team bidding for Bradford to become UK City of Culture for 2025.  Journalist SI CUNNINGHAM (pictured second from right), a Director of Bradford Business Improvement District and member of Bradford Economic Recovery Board, takes the role of Communications & Bid Development Manager; Research Intern HUNNAN HAIDER (pictured second from left) will lead on database compilation, research and analysis;  and Marketing and Campaign Co-ordinator JACK LYNCH (pictured right) will join part-time in addition to his work for The Peace Museum and Compass Live Art. PAKEEZAH ZAHOOR (pictured middle), who worked in community engagement roles at Bradford Literature Festival and the Science Museum Group, will be one of two Programme and Community Co-ordinators ensuring that local people’s voices and ideas are integrated into the bid, and will be joined by MAY MCQUADE (pictured far left), who will work part-time whilst continuing as Creative Engagement Coordinator at Mind The Gap.
