ANDREA BARZEY is joining London Contemporary Dance School in the newly created role of Head of Widening Participation and Recruitment.
Barzey is a dance educator, leader and project manager and has previously held leadership roles at Coventry University.
She will continue as Development Director for Coventry Dance while working her new role, and is also the Area Co-ordinator for Birmingham and the West Midlands for Live Well & Dance with Parkinson’s for People Dancing.
At London Contemporary Dance School, Barzey will be responsible for the development and implementation of its student recruitment strategy in the UK and internationally, while working with national partners to ensure healthy and diverse recruitment nationally and globally.
Director of Dance Studies Dr LISE UYTTERHOVEN said: "It’s an exciting time for London Contemporary Dance School and we’re embarking on lots of new adventures. We’re delighted to welcome Andrea on board."
