An anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) has been awarded against Tim Horrox, managing director of ?ambient media and marketing agency? Diabolical Liberties, banning him from organising flyposting in Camden for two years.

The ASBO was sought by Camden Council in response to the £250,000 bill it faced annually for cleaning up illegal fly-posting. Councillor John Thane of Camden Council said, ?This vindicates Camden Council?s decision to tackle fly-posting at source by seeking ASBOs against the company employees who arrange it. Since we started using the legislation in this way last June, flyposting in the borough has been reduced by 95 per cent.? Authorities in Bristol, Manchester and Cardiff are also understood to be considering launching ASBO proceedings against flyposters.
