Letters - Y Change? - From Helen Renwick, Y Touring

Thanks for your feature on Common Purpose (ArtsProfessional issue 24, April 22), an organisation which believes, like Y Touring, that all individuals hold within them the ability to promote change when given the information to do so.
In fact it was Y Touring with the National Theatre who conceived the idea of the Theatre of Debate project mentioned in that feature and progressed it with the Guys, Kings and St Thomas?s hospitals. Y Touring have developed further playwriting initiatives which also put difficult issues, such as bio-genetic advancement on young people?s agendas, enabling them to explore their thoughts and feelings about questions which interest them.
