Of course I had to choose this one! This shows what?s going on at our very own theatre! This website also links to other Clear Channel venues so you can check what shows are on all over the country. The virtual tours are really cool and if you sign up, you get lots of special offers.

I love the Polka Theatre in Wimbledon. Totally child-centred with lots of wonderful adaptations of children?s books, they have a lovely auditorium for the under-fives with big cushions on the floor. I did a great script-writing course here called Playgrounding where we met children?s playwrights like David Wood and Vicky Ireland and were given training on how to write drama for children. I enjoyed it so much that I subsequently signed up for a two-year Creative Writing course and I?m now writing a book for eight year-olds.

We?re having a staff art exhibition at the White Rock Theatre for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and I like to browse this site for inspiration. I?m hoping to see the Frida Kahlo show that?s on at the moment. I lived in London for five years and miss the galleries and museums ? whenever I get the chance, I pop up to London and spend the day looking at shows and exhibitions.
