Landscape theatre company Wildworks has appointed two new trustees to its board.

AMAYA JEYARAJAH DENT is a producer, programmer and artistic director, currently co-leading London International Festival of Theatre. Joining her is REBECCA WHITMAN, who has spent more than a decade supporting events and organisations with sustainability and strategy.

The appointments follow the arrival of new chair DAVID PRIOR last month.

“I am chuffed to be joining Wildworks’ board – I’m inspired by their appetite for creating unforgettable culture in the landscape and taking artistic risks out in the elements,” Dent said.

“I’m really happy to join the organisation at this moment of new leadership and look forward to supporting this capable team on the journey ahead.”

Whitman said: “[It is] a real pleasure to be invited to play a part in the Wildworks ecosystem and support such a wonderful organisation on their sustainability journey.”

NATHAN JACKSON, co-CEO of Wildworks, said: “We’re incredibly proud to welcome Amaya and Rebecca to our board. Amaya brings with her a bold, artist-first mindset that perfectly reflects the Wildworks spirit.

“Rebecca offers an equally vital perspective: a depth of expertise in sustainability that will help us embed climate-conscious thinking into the heart of our practice.

“They’re joining us at a pivotal time, and we’re excited for the future with them on this journey.”
