Staple moves to Tate

POLLY STAPLE, Director of Chisenhale Gallery since 2008 and formerly Director of Frieze Projects, has been appointed as Director of Collection, British Art at Tate. Co-founder of the Common Practice initiative, an advocacy group for the contemporary visual arts sector, she was previously Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Elephant Trust and a member of the Acquisitions and Advisory Committee for the Arts Council Collection.
