Professor CHARLOTTE SCOTT is joining the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in July as Director of Knowledge & Engagement.
Scott has been a professor of Shakespeare Studies at Goldsmiths College for the past 16 years.
Her new role will involve leading on the trust's learning, collections, research and programming work, according to CEO TIM COOKE.
“Charlotte will add richly to our knowledge base and our thinking about how we continue to magnify Shakespeare’s relevance in a fast-changing world,” Cooke said.
