Royal Albert Hall names new president
JAMES MAX is the new president of the Royal Albert Hall.
First elected to the hall’s council in 2012, Max has most recently served as vice president and chair of the programming, archive and marketing committee.
Outside of his work with the venue he has a wealth of experience across business, broadcasting and public affairs and currently presents the Early Breakfast Show on TalkTV.
Max succeeds outgoing president IAN McCULLOCH.
“It is a tremendous honour to have been elected president of the Royal Albert Hall by our members,” Max said. “This remarkable institution is a symbol of excellence in the arts, and it has been a vital part of British cultural life for over 150 years.”
