ROBERT READ, formerly Managing Director of the performance and conference centre Kings Place, London, has taken up the role of CEO at National Concert Hall Ireland, Dublin’s music and entertainment venue.
Before joining Kings Place he was Chief Operating Officer of the visual rights management organisation DACS, prior to which he was Operations Director at Tate Enterprises, the commercial arm of Tate Gallery. He has also held senior executive roles at the BBC and BBC Worldwide. He is Chair of the Free Painters and Sculptors FPS artist group, and a former member of Islington Council’s Cultural Leadership Team.
