James Gifford-Mead

JENNY WHITE has joined the Great Britain Sasakawa Foundation as Chief Executive. In her new role she will be supporting contemporary art and culture, science, humanities and social issues between the UK and Japan.

White is also 'Greening the Arts' Project Manager for international contemporary art, festivals, and creative economy programmes at Art + Environment, and Visiting Fellow for International Arts Projects at the University of Derby.

Previously she worked as Head of Visual Arts Programme at the British Council from 2016 to 2020. She joined the British Council in 1989 and has worked as arts manager in Japan, Thailand and Cuba. She is a board member of London based organisations A.P.T Art Studios and Gallery and ATMA Dance.
