NATHAN POWELL has joined Leicester-based theatre festival NSDF as artistic director.
He succeeds JAMES PHILLIPS and will also work as joint CEO alongside KEERTHI KOLLIMADA.
Powell is a director and writer who joins NSDF from Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse, where he worked as artistic associate. He is also the Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Activism associate at 20 Stories High.
“I’m excited to work alongside NSDF artists and the staff team to develop not only the festival, but a year-round programme that allows artists to make work, connect with theatres and companies and build new exciting and collaborative relationships,” Powell said.
“NSDF has proved that it is able to evolve in ways that make it the most useful thing it can be and I couldn’t be prouder to be working alongside Keerthi to take NSDF into this next, vital chapter.”
