Music at Oxford is welcoming four new trustees to the Board.

Soprano at Royal Opera House, Welsh National Opera and London Handel Festival CLAIRE BOOTH is among the appointments. Booth performs internationally, specialising in contemporary music, chamber ensemble, opera and theatre. 

Composer, Lecturer and Composition Tutor DES OLIVER also joins the Board. Oliver has taught composition at Brunel University, Magdalen College, and University College, Oxford and was a Senior Lecturer in composition and music production at Guilford's Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM).

Alongside them are JUDITH UNWIN OBE and ROB SKILTON, who bring expertise and experience outside of the music profession. Unwin was Director of Export & Project Finance (South Asia) at the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group ANZ and former Chair at Contemporary Arts, a London gallery showcasing the work of British craftspeople. Skilton is Head of Research at Remote Applications in Challenging Environments (RACE), whic is part of the UK Atomic Energy Authority. 

The new trustees join existing Chair PAUL RIVERS as the charity launches its 40th anniversary season.
