Italian court ousts five leading museum directors

Two years after the Italian culture ministry appointed 20 new leaders to the country’s museums and galleries – including, for the first time, seven foreigners – an appeal by two Italian candidates has resulted in five appointments being voided due to issues with the recruitment process.
