The Circus Friends Association (CFA) Archive was donated to the National Fairground and Circus Archive (NFCA) in April 2016. Since then the NFCA team has been working on the exhibition ‘Spectacle and Wonder: The Circus Friends Association Archive’ that celebrates the donation, our name change (from National Fairground Archive to NFCA), and commemorates the late Malcolm Clay, the CFA’s archivist for many years.

Angela Haighton is Head of the National Fairground and Circus Archive and Digital Humanities at The University of Sheffield.

Spectacle & Wonder runs at the university's Western Bank Library until 2 April.
