Deputy Director of Income Generation

Cultural sector consultancy company, Achates, is seeking a Deputy Director of Income Generation to join our  Income Generation Division, to support a range of clients across the cultural spectrum with  their strategic new earned income development and fundraising activities.

This is a home-based, flexible role available 4-5 days a week, by mutual agreement. It should be assumed that the majority of clients are in the capital and the candidate should be available to meet London based clients in person an average of two days a week, as well as one co-working day a month with the full Achates team. Achates’ clients often approach us at times of transformation, new direction and change – as they look to new audiences and communities, embark on major capital projects, or  re-assess their creative direction. This role will play a key part in helping those clients achieve their aims in the context of an ever-changing funding and cultural landscape,  working with the Director of Income Generation and the Director, to support a range of clients with their commercial and contributed income generation.

This is a client facing role with a monthly target of billable days. The Deputy Director of Income Generation will report to the Director of Income Generation and will have line management responsibility for the Division’s two Consultants.
