Creative Industries Property Summit

Arts Professional is delighted to be Media Partner for the 2nd Creative Industries Property Summit (CIPS). This event has been postponed to September 18th at Here East, London, to avoid the planned London Tube strike.

THEME: Creative Places – Realising the economic & human value of Development.

This pioneering Summit uniquely brings together leaders in the Creative Industries and UK Real Estate, breaking down barriers, spanning traditional boundaries, and opening up dynamic conversations that pave the way for serious business dialogue and purposeful debate.

Building on the success of the 2024 event (brought to you by Movers & Shakers) the aim of the Summit is to enable relationships to be forged and aligned, to create better creative places and a better built environment, for people to live, work and play, driving economic prosperity and inclusive socio-economic growth.

Human creativity has a very real role to play in solving social issues and complex problems, driving innovation and positive change. The Creative Industries are worth £125bn gross value added (GVA) to the UK and are one of the 8 key growth sectors in the Government’s new ‘Industrial Strategy’. The ‘Creative Industries Sector Plan’, launched in June, presents the next stage in UK Government’s mission to drive further growth across the sector.

The Real Estate industry is increasingly recognising the need to co-create with the Creative Industries to maximise both its financial value and social impact, creating opportunities to benefit from the spaces, funding, and engagement within property portfolios. CIPS creates pathways for sharing understanding and knowledge where people, business, and creativity, meet, connect and build relationships.

The day will comprise of a mix of authoritative keynotes, presentations, case studies and panel sessions.

  • Morning Opening Keynote – ‘Growing the UK’s Creative Industries – the Economy, Skills and Social Impact’
