Andrew Dixon was Adviser and Programme Director for the Hull City of Culture bid. He has also been involved in successful bids for WOMEX, the World Summit on Arts and Culture and York’s UNESCO City of Media Arts. He was previously CEO of Northern Arts, NewcastleGateshead Initiative and Creative Scotland where he established the Creative Place Awards for Scotland.
He is now an adviser of Coventry City of Culture Trust and joint visiting professor at the universities of Coventry and Warwick.
