John Gillett is a freelance director, actor, teacher and author of a number of articles and books on acting process, including Acting Stanislavski and Voice into Acting (Bloomsbury Methuen Drama, 2014). He was also a lead writer for Equity’s Manifesto for Theatre (2012) & Performance for All (2019), and the TUC Creative and Leisure Industries Committee’s Making Culture Ours (2019).
