Boost arts budget by 50%, urges Jersey politician

Deputy Montfort Tadier is calling for lawmakers to raise funding for the arts to 1% of government spending by 2022, to bring it in line with the European Union average for cultural spend. Jersey’s current arts budget is £4,787,600 – or 0.68% of total spending.
