Smallest arts gallery in the world
A decommissioned red phone box in the North Yorkshire town of Settle is about to become what is claimed to be the smallest art gallery in the world. The curator of the gallery is leading photographic history expert Professor Roger Taylor (pictured) of De Montfort University, who has joined with a group of local residents to create a space dedicated to the art of the postcard. The opening show features contributions from local artists and schoolchildren, as well exhibits by Ansel Adams, Paul Hill, Samuel Palmer and Toulouse Lautrec.
