The House of Lords was the venue for Feelgood Theatre Productions’s play about one young woman’s experience of slavery in Sudan. Hosted by Lord David Alton of Liverpool, the cast of ‘Slave – A Question of Freedom’ performed some of the play before members of the House of Lords members, to encourage the government to support an EU Resolution to reduce human trafficking and to draw attention to the plight of many people in slavery worldwide. First performed at the Lowry in November, the production will transfer to London next year, and then on to a national and international tour with a cast of eight international actors.
