Sharing experiences in Oxford

Shared Experience theatre company is to become the resident company at Oxford Playhouse. The company will move its base from London and open many of its shows at the Playhouse.The two organisations will share a producer, and Playhouse staff will work on Shared Experience’s activity, including supporting the education programme, marketing, finance and administration. Both companies will continue to produce and tour their own work, and will co-produce some projects, while continuing to bring shows to local, regional, national and international audiences. Michelle Dickson, Director of Oxford Playhouse, said: “The company is an ideal match for us… we want the Playhouse to be their home, on stage and off.”
