Cultural placemaking projects, designed to connect people with places, are being planned in Cambridge and the surrounding areas by consultants Future City. Working with eight clients, ten design teams, and twelve international artists on five major development schemes, the project will work to place artwork into developments. Planned work includes James Hopkin’s seating and play sculpture for Berkeley Homes around Cambridge Riverside, and a major sculptural focal point by artists Heather & Ivan Morison in Great Kneighton’s Central Square, working with developers Countryside Properties.
