Newly appointed Economics Editor for the BBC, Robert Peston is to pose the question ‘Are cuts in funding the greatest threat to culture?’ at the launch of the Warwick Commission public debates on the future of cultural value. A panel chaired by BBC newsreader Jane Hill will pick up the debate, including Professor Bev Skeggs, Professor in Sociology at Goldsmiths; Sir Richard Lambert, Chancellor of the University of Warwick; and Alan Davey, Chief Executive of Arts Council England. An artistic installation has been created by Stan’s Cafe for the event.
