Orchestra members, with their instruments - naked

Five members of Stratford-upon-Avon’s Orchestra of the Swan (pictured) will appear next month in the new series of Channel 4’s hit fashion show ‘How To Look Good Naked’.

Seen by Artistic Director David Curtis as an ideal opportunity to bring the Orchestra’s work to a new and wider audience, the show will feature him together with oboist Louise Braithwaite, French horn player Kai Hoffman, viola player Vanessa Murby and percussionist Tim Farmer. The orchestra has just lost its core Arts Council funding grant, and David Curtis said, “…we are committed to pursuing every avenue we can to literally help us get our clothes back on! This seemed to be a very timely opportunity to appeal to a vast new audience, help raise our profile and show everyone that we’re real people with a sense of humour.”
