Online database of crowdfunders goes live

An online directory of websites offering crowd funding platforms in the UK has been launched by innovation charity Nesta. With 31 sites currently listed, Crowdingin.com uses filters to help users assess which sites are best for their project, and includes the category ‘Arts- creative’. Services can also be sorted by method of funding, allowing users to choose between sites that offer donors rewards, sites for those offering a share in their project, those looking to attract loan money and those looking to attract small donations. Nesta has also published a free online how-to guide to crowdfunding, Working The Crowd.
