Welsh Music Foundation closes following funding cut

The music industry body that has helped launch the careers of Welsh musicians for the past 14 years is closing down after its £160k a year core funding agreement with the Welsh Government expired. It was offered of a six month extension to seek alternative funding, but said this was "unviable".
