Wages secured for amateur actors in RSC tour

Equity expressed concerns over initial plans not to pay amateur actors who will join the touring production of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream in 2016, but a deal has now been struck for them to be paid the national minimum wage for all rehearsals and performances which include the professional cast.
