V&A Dundee has added £75m to Scotland's economy in its first year of operation, according to new research.

An independent study commissioned by the museum found its 833,000 visitors contributed £21m to the Dundee economy and £75m to Scotland overall.

This was more than double its predicted economic impact locally, and triple the value analysts thought it would generate nationally.

The museum has also created 370 local jobs.
