University of South Wales axes dance degree

The Cardiff-based institution is closing its Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in dance, in part because "projected recruitment figures for the degree mean that we will not have enough students in future to be able to continue to provide a high quality education", a spokesperson said. The university is looking for ways to continue providing dance via a wider performance curriculum.
