Theatre consortium loses £57k grant in Council cuts

Ceredigion County Council has cut its grant to the Mid Wales Entertainment Circuit (MWEC), which will see Aberystwyth Arts Centre, Theatr Mwldan and Theatr Felinfach each lose around £16k. Lydia Bassett, Coordinator of the MWEC, said: “We were told to expect a 3% cut and this is far more substantial than that – it is the entire grant.”
