Suspended Aberystwyth Arts Centre Director retires

Alan Hewson, who was reportedly suspended from his role at the Centre by Aberystwyth Univesity bosses in February, has announced his retirement after 28 years in post. Meanwhile, a protest against his suspension and that of Operations Manager Auriel Martin took place on the campus where the arts centre is located, with supporters blocking a zebra crossing and disrupting traffic on an open day for prospective students.
