Sixth form college will replace arts venue The Public

A 25-year lease deal between Sandwell Council and Sandwell College has secured the building’s future, saving the Council £30k a week in subsidy. The Public will close at the end of November and the local authority is working to relocate its current businesses and entertainment venues to town centre locations.
