The Portland Tiara, designed for the Duchess of Portland to wear to the royal coronation in 1902, was taken from an art gallery in Nottinghamshire in November last year. Police have arrested six people in connection with the burglary but have not found the crown. A private £100,000 appeal for its return has been administered by the Art Loss Register.
