Proportion of pupils studying the EBacc drops

Following a decrease in the proportion of students studying languages – which has fallen more sharply than the arts over the past three years – the overall proportion of pupils studying the EBacc suite of subjects in state schools has fallen by 1.5 percentage points this year, to 38%.
