Tickets are still being sold for shows in June that will not take place under the Government’s roadmap for reopening live events.

The earliest that full-capacity indoor events can resume in England is June 21, yet tickets for arena shows including Alicia Keys and Mrs Brown’s Boys are still being sold.

Julian Knight, Chair of the DCMS Select Committee, said this was “concerning” as customers would only receive refunds if the shows are cancelled or rescheduled.

"There is no reason for concerts organisers to hang on their cash... now is the time for the industry to do the responsible thing."

Consumer rights magazine Which? has called for the events to be taken off sale and warned against buying tickets until new dates are confirmed.
