Plans to restructure management of Rome’s Colosseum in doubt

An appeal by Rome’s Mayor against the government’s plans to create a new ‘archaeological park’ for the Colosseum, under ‘autonomous management’ and an international director, has succeeded on the grounds that the move would undermine the local authority’s power and ticket revenues.
