Orange Tree Theatre decides to not apply for NPO funding

The theatre, which lost Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation (NPO) status in 2015, has announced it will not apply to re-join the portfolio for 2018-22. Management expressed confidence in the “robustness” of the theatre’s business plan, but said success would depend on increased support from its funders and audiences.
