The Grand Quarter in Leeds, which includes the Grand Theatre, home of Opera North, is one of 247 new sites that Historic England has added to its Heritage at Risk register. The heritage body has also removed 310 “saved” sites from the list in the past year, including the former Moseley School of Art in Birmingham, a Grade II-listed building that has been turned into a community hub.
