Nottingham Playhouse faces loss of all Council funding

Nottinghamshire County Council has proposed cutting its grant to the theatre entirely to help reduce its £154m budget deficit. The £94k  grant represents 6% of the venue’s total annual subsidy and the equivalent of five jobs. The theatre has lodged an appeal.
